Erotic arousal and the impulse to create artwork strike me as being similar. Sex is the very first act of human creation after all, as the biological objective of sexual intercourse is to create life. Therefore, combining masturbation and artistic creation is perhaps not so preposterous.
Throughout this project every time I masturbated I would use it as an opportunity for artistic creation. It is a sex positive take on male self-pleasure. This project also acts as intimate documentation of my most personal moments. Taking a typically private event and broadcasting it to the public through a Google Calendar (which records the time, location and stimulus for my ejaculations). Allowing the audience, through technology, to experience an honest view into my sexuality. The Google Calendar acts as the work of art itself, which viewers can explore and interact with as they wish.
