Our first music video as reset memory, as well as my first time being videographed as a musician. At this time, “Reset Memory” was the name for myself and Dan writing video game soundtracks on a modified gameboy. Between that time and the band’s current incarnation, we made a slight pivot to instrumental remakes of a few of our favourite chiptunes.
The concept for this video came from an early AI bot we’d “collaborated” with to develop our EP covers – twitter.com/greatartbot – with permission from its programmer. Dan applied some basic effects in Premiere and we projected it over us and onto a garage. We filmed in January in degrees near 0F – so after each take of the 4min song we’d rush inside to huddle in warmth for at least 10mins.
