MAP has invited artists from around Aotearoa to take part in four Residencies held in Ōtautahi in April, August, September, and October 2022 with thanks to funding from Creative New Zealand. Artists are given a month in the studio to develop their work, culminating in a Research Presentation to share their work with the public.
April has seen us host the first of these four residencies with a collective of fresh UNITEC graduates, Kereana Mosen, Rebecca Johnson, and Anthony Te Puke. The evening will begin with a performance, followed by a kōrero with everyone in the space for a post show dialogue and pātai on their process and kaupapa.
