Baden Breaks 2024 – Recap

‘BadenBreaks’ is an international dance competition in various categories, which is organized annually by ‘tanz & kunst königsfelden’, ‘Residenzzentrum tanz+’ and the ‘Move Too Hot Company’. The event takes place at Trafo Baden (Switzerland). Participants, mainly from Switzerland,Austria and Germany, compete in different categories – 1vs1 B-Girl and B-Boy Kids, 1vs1 B-Girl and B-Boy Juniors – in front of experienced judges. The competitions are judged with and8 Judge. After a qualification round, the dancers selected by the judges dance against each other in the knock-out format until a winner is determined.

This year the ‘Longest Moves Competition’ also took place for the first time, in which everyone could take part. The aim here was to see who could, for example, do the most laps on their back or head or stand in a handstand the longest. The mobile photo studio was also a special highlight. Here, the talented young German photographer “Niklas Zech” took free promo photos for all participating dancers, which were sent via email after the event.
