Second Glance Living (Mark 12:35-44) Conrad Wozniak

We live in a world where our eyes play an important role. Humans are visual. In most circumstances we see things in order to discover them and even understand more about them. Despite our visual nature, we understand that there is often to situations more than what meets the eye on first glance. So, we take a second glance. We double take. Often times, when we look a second time, we are able to see the finer points and more defined details of what we’re looking at. Spiritually, this is also true. This week in the Gospel of Mark, we will see three separate sections which all deserve a spiritual ‘double take.’
