Beauty of Rest and Boundaries

Beauty of Rest and Boundaries

When you are used to being independent and even taking care of others, it is difficult to allow others to take care of you. But living with cancer means you have no other option. It means your journey of deconstructing the idea that you become a burden to your loved ones has begun.

This workshop is designed to support you in that journey. You’ll discover ways to ease the uncomfortable feelings that come from not being able to take care of yourself and others like before– and to do so with compassion for yourself. We’ll cover how to practice the art of empathetic but firm boundaries with those around you and challenge the negative thoughts and feelings that it may trigger.

In this workshop, attendees will:

Learn the red flags of burnout
Develop coping tools to manage their mental health
Gain an evolved understanding of boundaries and boundary setting
Take home actionable tools to practice after the workshop.
